When you have decided that you’re going to buy or sell a property, contacting a reputable solicitor is one of the first steps you will need to take. After discussing the outline of your proposed purchase or sale, we are able to give you an immediate verbal quotation, which will be very quickly followed up by clear and concise written information, including a breakdown of all the costs involved, a guide to the buying or selling process and what you can expect to happen, our terms of business and what we need from you. As the matter progresses we will keep you informed at every stage and there will always be someone at the office who can discuss any matter of concern, or just to give you an update.

The whole process generally takes at least six weeks and often considerably more depending on the complexity of the work. In the latter stages we may require your signature on documents. Once completion of a purchase has taken place, we deal efficiently with the payment of stamp duty and registration of your property, and will contact you once these post-completion matters are finalised.
